EVERYONE SHOULD SHARE THIS IN A GROUP LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD.
March 28, 2020
To all the technology companies that produces, TV, Cellphones, Tablets, Computers etc...
During this Coronavirus attack on the world, with every government official trying to figure out ways to combat the threat, there is something happening that many people have overlooked.
Thank you to Renee Mickens, whom I must credit to for allowing us to be able to share this fact on Facebook.
As CEO of Hip-Hop Blvd and as the Hip Hop Culture suffers daily from this virus. I want to unveil the following thoughts that I feel need to be addressed.
While our government and law officials are announcing to stay at home and self-quarantine ourselves. To contain this virus and slow the spread of this virus they have overlooked an important process that is being eliminated. The support, mourning and grieving process that we as compassionate human being are accustomed to is being taken away from us. I cannot believe that with all the technology that we have now we cannot make it possible to be in that hospital bed with our love ones. If only to say goodbye or to encourage them to fight on they need that, and we need that. The fallout that is occurring right now is tremendous people are not only depress but they feel the floor has been taken away from. A simple security that we take for granted is gone. We understand people pass away, we understand people get sick and we understand shit happens. Now, what we cannot continue to allow to happen is the blatant disregard of our emotional connection to our friends and love ones.
The technology industry has to step up and create a situation that allow us to help our love ones in any way we can. It’s bad enough that they are alone and scared but to top that off with no one, not one of their family or friends there. This is no disrespect to all of the doctors and nurses that are helping our love ones. Let’s just state the facts one nurse cannot stay with one patient throughout the course of their stay. They have many patients on a normal day, and this is not a normal day.
We hurt, we suffer, and we are in pain and we are SHOUTING OUT make it happen that we can be on our cellphones, computer, tablet any device so we can see our love ones if it’s only for a moment. I hope this letter circulates and finds itself on the desk of a CEO from one of these companies. That our voices are heard and that you will step up and make sure our loves are not along in the biggest battle of their life. One of the medicines for every patient is support from those they love. Don’t robbed them of this antidote that is so easily administered.
