Jade Goh ( Delicious Dolls Magazine ) Modern Day Pinup in Atomic Jane Clothing
Hello readers. Very excited to post this blog, this set, and briefly introduce, Jade Goh.
Brand new to pinup!!!! Gorgeous doll and from her very first pinup shoot she was featured in Delicious Dolls Magazine! Congratulations to her, again. Job well done, and mission accomplished. 1st pinup shoot, 1st time published, and in the biggest pinup magazine in the world, very nice!
Jade will be my featured model in an article I wrote, for my 2nd column. So, look for it, and look forward to seeing more of her.
Her look, was very much modern day pinup. The classic bustier, which is from Atomic Jane Clothing, is a beautiful main garment, to feature in a pinup or vintage look. I've written an article on the bustier and I'm hoping Jade will be my featured model.
This bustier is FABULOUS! If I could fit it, it'd so be mine, and not in my wardrobe room for my clients. Quality material, the design and details are brilliant. This is a pinup wardrobe staple, yet it's completely versatile, and can be worn with modern clothing. Atomic Jane Clothing rocks!
I decided, since her outfit was so eye catching, eye candy, to keep her hairdo very simple. She did 3 looks at this shoot, and I didn't want the focus to be on her hair. Especially since the look is half pinup, half modern, I kept it simple.
The classic, black bow tie, classic, black tutu, classic, black thigh highs with the lace top, and one roll in the front of her hair, with an updo,.... there's where the elements and fashion details bring a vintage look, aka classic pinup.
Also, the frames of the glasses are vintage looking, but the print looks modern, ( Lindsey Lowe Eyewear ). No jewelry, as I felt it would be too much, for this particular outfit. Her heels are lovely, very fashionable and very modern. It was by chance, they completely matched the sequin details of the bustier. They looked fabulous and sexy, with and without thigh highs.
Then we get to the background, backdrop. Very classic and timeless, because modern fashion also uses a newspaper backdrop. I love seeing outfits with bright colors, and a newspaper background, but sold black garments also stand out well.
I personally think, even with all the business, all the writing in the newspaper, it brings my focus to the outfit and model. I don't think any outfit can blend in, with this backdrop. Also, it's easy to put up on a wall, and easy to take down. I think for my show, Pinup Talk host Dianna Prince, or when I go live to my fans, this background would be perfect.
I'll be styling and photographing this beautiful doll again, very soon. I look forward to creating different looks and having fun with Jade. She's a sheer doll, so sweet and professional.
Thank you to Atomic Jane Clothing for the gorgeous bustier that was the inspiration for this entire look. Thank you to the owners of Delicious Dolls Magazine, and our readers.

" Hello, I'm Jade Goh. I'm a full time technologist and a part time fire dancer, performer, product rep and model. Originally from the NE coast, I currently reside in Las Vegas. I have been performing for over 8 years, with fire for the last few years, and only recently began modeling. I started pinup modeling because I have always loved the classic poses and cheeky personalities that defined the vintage starlets. I look forward to working more closely with vintage stylist Dianna Prince in creating new sexy and whimsical photos ".
