Stop Buying Clothes That Don't Fit!

It's been forever since I blogged on this website. This topic is nothing new, as I've covered it many times, just not in a blog.

Women and buying the correct size,... it's one thing to assume, because there is no adequate information, so you gotta guess. Completely different situation when the information is there, right in front of your face to read, and then you assume, minus that information.

Ordering online. I've been ordering clothing online for years and years, a solid 10 years plus. It didn't take me that long to figure out, reading the size charts, are ESSENTIAL. Even if you had money to waste, or can sell something that doesn't fit, wasn't your initial reason for purchasing it, to wear it? Well, don't you want it to fit? Do you want it to fit properly and flatter YOUR body shape?

If buying clothes you adore, that do NOT fit, motivate you to loose weight, which is extremely common, then that's positive. What if you never loose it, or loose it then gain it all back? I'm thinking in terms of finances, not feelings.

If you do loose it, ok so now you have that one garment, or a few only in that size. You can fit them well, what about the rest of your wardrobe? When people say fitness is a lifestyle, they mean it. Your weight changes, that means you'll need new clothes. Not just to sit at home in, not just to workout in, you'll need a new wardrobe entirely, if you loose alot of weight. Do you have the money?

Will the changes you've made, remain? Do you feel you'll realistically keep the weight off, where investing in a brand new wardrobe will be a wise financial decision?

Women will often loose enough weight to fit into one thing, for one occasion, then gain it all back, plus more. It's life, and people are motivated by different things, including motivated to make a permanent change. I just don't think most women think about the future financial commitment, because you'll need new clothes, that fit, for everything you do.

Back to shopping online. All it takes is once, maybe twice for most people to waste their money, to begin reading the size charts. I want to go into the emotions of an intelligent person, who has the correct information in front of them, reads it, and ignores it SOLELY based upon their emotions!

You aren't totally clueless, you can clearly read and see the information provided, BEFORE you ordered. The chart is telling you, you need an xl! DEAL with that, don't buy it, or order the wrong size and waste your money! That's pure and utter emotion, to make a decision not based upon logic and correct information!

In China, if you are a size large in the U.S, then you're an xxl! Yes, 2 whole sizes up. Corsets, form fitting dresses, verses loosely fitting clothes, you may get away with going, only one size up. If you feel you're a medium in the U.S. then in China, when ordering online, you buy an xl.

I'm a size 12 in today's measurement standards. In 1950, my same size now, I'd be a size 18, or 20 dress! Yes, size 18! Why would I be aware of that information, cross reference and it's TRUE, then purposely order a smaller size? I don't have those types of emotional issues. I'm unwilling to waste my money in hopes it'll fit anyhow, or in hopes I'll loose enough weight, and keep it off.

Call me dull, but if I order photo shoot wardrobe I need it to fit me now, and look flattering, now! My main model just mentioned this topic, the last time we worked together. She is also uninterested in buying things that don't fit right now, and has no problem ordering her correct size, because of emotions.

Some gals are top heavy, bottom heavy, mid section heavy, or hour glass and equal portions size all over. We're all uniquely sized. If you're bottom heavy and not up top, then when its something form fitting, you're going to have to go off of the size you are on the bottom, or else it'll be too tight. Like corsets can be tricky if arms and breasts aren't equally proportionate.

Basically, I'm saying, obviously when you order photo shoot wardrobe you need it by a certain date, you need it to fit well and look flattering. If you're a size 10, size 12, size whatever, deal with that! If you need a size xl in China, don't waste your money, because of lack of reading the chart, or because of your insecurities on ordering YOUR correct size.

If you're really determined to order that size medium, ( which in China a person fitting a size M is actually small, like size 3 /4 ), when you are not a medium, then by all means, waste your money, or time and money sending it back. If you adore it, order it in your size, and accept your size.

Lastly, I wanted to mention, you don't have to be a model to know your measurements. 2 bucks and you can buy a clothing measuring tape. Measure 3 main areas, 4 to be precise, and now you know your exact measurements, not just your dress size.

I'm always reading comments on clothing company posts, gals upset something didn't fit, was way too small. You mean like, about 2 sizes too small, like it states on the chart? Smh. Then they get upset with the company.

Research, read and live in reality. Why waste your money and time? I can't relate. Be a wise shopper, especially if you're on a budget.
