Modern - Day Pinup by Atomic Jane Clothing

Hello readers and welcome to another exciting issue of Pinupworship Magazine! I want to introduce a beautiful gal, brand new to pinup, and show you images from her very first pinup shoot! Jade Goh, such a sweet doll, beautiful and fun to work with, we had a blast. Hard to believe this was her very first pinup shoot ever! Not only is she gorgeous, with a fit and sexy body, she's also very professional and it was a pleasure to style and photograph. Her confidence level was matched by skill from previous modern modeling shoots, and she did wonderfully! I absolutely adore her entire outfit. I styled her using wardrobe by Atomic Jane Clothing, for all 3 looks she did, at this shoot. Atomic Jane Clothing has the biggest variety and widest selection of pinup clothing, I've ever seen one company sell. I love the colorful bustier and colorful skirt I styled Jade in, they were a perfect fit and perfect match. Bustiers are somewhat of a pinup wardrobe staple, as they are so versatile and so many different colors, pattern designs and fabulous details, on each one. Also they are a very popular garment used in pinup and boudoir shoots for ages, still as popular today as in the 40's and 50's. This garment can actually be worn underneath clothing, to shape the bust area, create a shape to the outer clothing, and uplift. When I saw the bustier then saw the skirt, I just had to piece them together. The bright, multicolored print in the skirt is from the movie, " Alice in Wonderland ". The bright, multicolored jewels on the bustier look like candy, like a candyland top. The outfit couldn't match any better! She wore black thigh highs and white heels with a platform. Her look is what I'd call, " modern - day pinup ". Sexy meets cute, modern meets pinup. For her hair I did a simple Cheesecake pinup style. Single curl in the front and 2 ponytails. No jewelry, as I wanted the main focus to be on her lovely face, and fabulous wardrobe. The bustier fit her so well and flatter her so much, it looks like it was made specifically for her. To add a creative twist and keeping with the modern pinup theme, I created a newspaper background, on my studio wall. I love how the black and white paper and writing, totally makes the bright colors in her wardrobe pop! The only accessory I did incorporate were those Buddy Holly style, frames. They are from Lindsey Lowe Eyewear. Perfect glasses to match with the newspaper theme. Look for more from this beautiful doll, in the near future. I'll be styling and photographing her again soon, and hopefully working together a long time. Her level of professionalism is a perfect for my pinup academy. "
