Making Money As A Fashion Influencer, Social Media Influencer - Part 3 ( Instagram Content )

So much inspiration on Instagram for me. Definitely utilize Facebook and Instagram for different things. As far as continuing to reseach and study social media influencers with a humungous following, its endless. I see such a pattern and it's just inspiring to see ass these models representing all these brands and have so many followers, I mean hundreds of thousands. If only I could start my Instagram from scratch with the same followers I had from the beginning, and my new ones. The IG models who are fashion influencers and bloggers, that I like, have such a clean looking account. And and every single image is high quality, even the behind the scenes, selfies, at events, out with friends, etc. Not a single dark, out of focus, poorly lite, unflattering, horrible image, not one. For me the frame of mind is difficult to change. I mean if you have the means, tools, resources and can start from scratch with high quality photography, of course why wouldn't you. Investing in cameras, lighting, having resources of great photographers, props, a set, etc., are essential for many, social media influencers. But to only post high quality, never ever posting memes, no family or friends shots, no behind the scenes unless high quality, no images that are just decent, ok, or good, they have to all be high quality. Not saying this is with every model whose a social media influencer, but if you study the ones who are fashion influencers, they have a pattern, a recipe that has obviously worked. Also the mixing of different careers, it's done and it's not done. There are models who have an account just for their modeling only, so if they are a stylist too, they do be promoting that on a different account. Most of the vintage starlets I adore have one thing in common with the top pinups, and social media influencers within fashion, they all do more than model. Many gals are trained actors, trained dancers, professionally trained singers, hair stylists, clothing designers, and other fields related to the entertainment industry. Fashion influencers, are the professional term fashion forecaster. Very similar in definition. The influencer part is essential to the title. Social media is how every sungje major biz advertises, and countless small businesses. There are fashion trends, social media influencers that are famous actors, or high society socialites, famous singers, famous designers and more. So it's very much across the board, so many people qualify in one way or another to be a success social media influencer. Its your fan base and number of followers, the style and quality of the content, knowledge on marketing, creating a plan, being organized, producing content often, building your fan base and brand, then seeking out companies. It's actually more work than most people realize. I'd say the hardest part is building your fan base 1st, keeping your followers and gaining more. That in itself is sheer work, takes time and money, plus daily effort. Once you invest in tool and supplies, you can build a mini set, or set up an area or room, specifically to record and photograph yourself in, or find strategic outdoor locations where you take most images. I noticed many that photograph themselves indoors, have a very simple set up, but looks high quality, upscale, the lighting is excellent and couldn't be any better. Once thing I definitely notice about the social media, fashion influencers I follow, they rarely are photographed by photographers. There seems to be a clear separation. The images they take as selfies, or with a tripod are very high quality, and they are just taking a single product style shot. Usually it is one, maybe 2 shots only. If someone is truly a fashion influencer then they are out in public often, which means pretty much every day, several times a week, they are in a new outfit, with the works and need a couple of pics. There are social media influencers within fashion that are athletic and fitness is their world, so they are often in sportswear. But the need for new content is a major aspect, and its like with most advertisers companies, they are looking for one great shot. Images for publication may need a full spread of images. Product shots for so many companies didn't come from photo shoots with hired professional muah, clothing designers at the shoot, professional studio, professional photographer, booked thru an agency, etc. See, you can be a top pinup with a huge following and become a successful social media influencer. To be a fashion influencer and social media influencer means not focusing on magazine publication solely or even at all. If that's how you gain followers then, of course it's a key element, but producing content for companies, for your page, etc., isn't about hiring or being photographed by a photographer. The successful social media influencers I'm talking about, that represent and endorse products and companies, have invested in the essential resources so they can wake up, apply their own makeup high quality, do their own hair in fabulous styles, and take a few pics, but are high quality. They have a closet full of clothes that they bought and companies have sent, have a lil setup with excellent lighting, or fabulous outdoor locations. They have nice or expensive cameras, expensive cellphones, tripods, etc., and on a daily basis take self portraits and produce content. To shoot with a photographer is for something major, yes like a magazine feature or cover, but not every other day to gain content for social media advertising. Keep in mind so many gals an companies actually use less than high quality images to advertise with, as I covered in my last blog on being a social media influencer. They want the appearance of the photos and videos to look amateur, like a consumer bought the product and loves it. Same concept in mind by other companies, but the content must be high quality always.
